Welcome Message

The 2008 IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence in
Bioinformatics and Computational Biology will mark the 5th year
anniversary of this event. The conference will provide an excellent
venue to present the latest advances in computational intelligence
based methods for bioinformatics, computational biology and
bioengineering problems, as well as invaluable opportunities to
network with other researchers in this exciting field.

The organizers of CIBCB 2008 are hard at work with the up-front
planning to required to make the conference a great success. We invite
applications for special sessions and benchmark competitions and are
continuing the standing tradition of offering student travel grants,
the student paper competition, and best paper awards.

The conference will be held at the Sun Valley Resort in Sun Valley,
Idaho from September 15 through September 17. The resort is an all
inclusive facility with a variety of dining, shopping, and
recreational activities available on the premises.

CIBCB is an established conference in the field of Bioinformatics and
Sun Valley features something for everyone. We would like to extend
our warmest welcome to everyone to attend this upcoming event: bring
your colleagues, students, friends, and family.
