Subject: 18.05.03 Trinity College Dublin Symposium and Workshop in May. Computer-Aided Drug Design: Linking Design, Biology, Chemistry and Medicine
Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the Schools of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences and
Biochemistry & Immunology, Trinity College Dublin and the Computer-Aided
Drug Design Centre Biruni University (Istanbul), we would like to
officially invite you to register and participate in the International
Symposium & Workshop entitled:

Computer-Aided Drug Design: Linking Design, Biology, Chemistry and Medicine
Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute,
Pearse St., Dublin 2
3rd-4th May 2018
http://caddsymposium.org/

Our exciting program includes speakers from three Irish pharma/biotech SMEs
(Galactica Biotech, HiTech Health and Nuritas), the Head of Computational
Chemistry in Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic diseases at AstraZeneca
and two ERC awardees.
The symposium talks will span the frontiers of chemistry, biology, medicine,
pharmacy, and computational design disciplines. The first day will cover the
journey from technologies used for drug design and target validation, to
progressing the new discoveries to the market. The second day will be
dedicated to a state of the art, hands-on Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD)
workshop.

Registration for the symposium provides the attendee with:

-	Unique insights into the world of modern computer-aided drug design
and drug discovery from experienced industry and academic researchers
-	Valuable opportunities to network with both speakers and other
attendees across many different fields
-	Lunch, coffee/pastry breaks and wine reception included
-	Free WiFi for delegates
-	Certificate of attendance for all postdoctoral researchers, postgraduates
and undergraduate students
-	Exposure to Schrödinger chemical simulation software (Schrödinger LLC)
in a hands-on workshop setting – includes one month free trial afterwards
to explore the applicability of CADD to your research
-	For early stage researchers and postgraduate students, opportunities
to gain experience disseminating their research to the wider research community
will be provided through poster presentations, with a select few being chosen
for oral presentation

The registration fees are as follows:

-	Students/Postdocs 15 euro (Symposium only)/30 euro (Symposium & Workshop)
-	Academic/ Industry 30 euro (Symposium only)/ 50 euro (Symposium & Workshop)
