Open postdoctoral position in the MOLCAD development group at the Darmstadt 
University of Technology (Germany) in the general area of computational 
chemistry and molecular modeling.
The MOLCAD research unit is a cooperative organisation of MOLCAD GmbH and 
Darmstadt University of Technology. The position is for one year, 
renewable upon mutual agreement, and is available immediately.
Different projects in research and software development are available. 
Candidates will be screened according to their research track record in one
or more of the following disciplines:
Theoretical chemistry, bioinformatics, physics, biophysics, computer sciences
or related disciplines. Important is a strong background in advanced 
scientific computing and programming, experience in molecular modeling 
techniques is a plus.
The candidate should be capable of independent research and should have 
excellent writing and communication skills. 
Applicants will have the possibility to develop new theoretical methods 
and implement these methods in computer programs. 
Experience in C/C++, scripting, numerical optimization and 
visualization (OpenGL) is a plus.
