Subject: 08.01.27 Postdoc and PhD student positions, computational biophysics and chemistry, University of California, Riverside
PhD student and postdoctoral positions in computational chemistry/biophysics are available in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Riverside. The postdoctoral position requires a PhD degree in science or engineering, experience in computational chemistry/biophysics, solid background in statistical mechanics, and programming skills in Fortran or C. Research projects include but are not limited to the development and application of computational methods and theoretical models to study kinetics of binding/folding and molecular recognition, and to model biomolecular systems using multiscale (classical molecular dynamics and coarse-grained Brownian dynamics) simulations. The postdoctoral positions are available immediately. Interested candidates please send CV, names of 3 references and a brief description regarding their experience and research interests to Dr. Chia-en Angelina Chang chiaenc+*+ucr.edu Candidates for the PhD student positions please email me CV and a cover letter, and apply to the graduate program at UCR http://www.chem.ucr.edu/index.html?main=graduate&graduatecat=application For further details of our research, please refer to: http://research.chem.ucr.edu/groups/chang/index.htmlNOTE THAT E-MAIL ADDRESSES HAVE BEEN MODIFIED!!!
