To: jobs at ccl.net Date: Mon Jan 28 09:09:57 2008 Subject: 08.01.28 Postdoctoral Position in Computational Biophysics/Structural Biology A postdoctoral position is available at the Institute of Structural Biology (IBS) in Grenoble, France for 18 months starting from September 2008. The position, which is funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), is part of an ongoing project aimed at understanding the photochemistry of photoactivatable fluorescent proteins. These proteins are of fundamental interest and have significant biotechnological potential. Applicants should have a strong background in molecular modeling and molecular simulation and, in particular, in the use of quantum chemical, molecular dynamical and hybrid QC/MM techniques. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the experimental, crystallographic group at the IBS that is studying these proteins.
