The faculty of biosciences, work group Prof. Enrico Schleiff, has a
job opening starting at April 15th 2008 for a

research assistent (BAT IIa)

working on the subject
"Modeling and theoretical description of transport processes"

at first temporarily for the duration of 3 years.
For the limitation of the contract the terms of the
"Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz i. V. m. dem Hessischen Hochschulgesetz"
(scientific fixed-term contract law in connection with the Higher Education
Act of the State of Hesse) is definitive.

The candidate must have a PhD degree in biology/bioinformatics/informatics.
Competent knowledge in the informatic analysis of biological processes and/or
systems is a basic requirement.
Experience in modeling protein and membrane systems or in the systemic
description of biological and chemical processes are highly appreciated.
According to the german equality law all candidates are treated equally.
