use our solutions. As Materials Science Principal Solutions Architect 
you will leverage your knowledge of business processes in chemical and 
materials science and related industries to facilitate understanding of 
our clients needs. 

Working with our clients and sales team, you will identify and develop 
specific opportunities for enterprise architecture IT projects and 
scientific research projects. You will be expected to form a close 
partnership with our clients and facilitate the sales process through 
your deep understanding of their business. Following a sale, you will 
be in a position to ensure that projects are carried out according to 
your original vision and fully meet the clients expectations.

An outstanding leader and project manager, you will have an academic 
background in chemistry or chemical engineering, fluency in software 
engineering technologies and knowledge of enterprise architecture 
standards.  Significant domain expertise in a senior level role in the 
materials industry is preferred. 

An excellent communicator, you will be highly adept at public speaking 
and delivering technical presentations. Significant expertise handling 
and responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and translating customers
business issues into technological and scientific solutions are essential. Knowledge of the methods likely to be used to deliver projects (IT technologies, scientific algorithms) is highly desirable. 

Due to the high customer facing nature of the role, you will need 
outstanding interpersonal skills and a willingness to travel around 35% 
of the time.
