As a Scientific Software Developer - Materials Modeling, you will get involved in all aspects of the development and integration of new capabilities within a diverse range of applications - from inception through specification, design, development, implementation, testing and documentation. Responsibilities also include validation studies and tracking/monitoring scientific and/or technological developments. Key to this role will be your ability to work closely with scientists/software engineers and adopt commercial software development practices. This position requires a PhD in a scientific, engineering or mathematical discipline combined with working knowledge of C/C++ and good software development skills in both Windows and UNIX/Linux based environments. Experience with parallel computing and/or a scientific or mathematical background would be an advantage.
