I will have an immediate opening for a postdoctoral research associate in
the field of computational quantum chemistry. Specifically the work will 
involve computational quantum chemistry of clusters, small nanotubes and
their interactions with actinides. This is an exciting and emerging field
with considerable opportunities for growth.
 

The position will be funded by a joint grant with University of California
Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and thus would provide 
significant opportunities for collaborations with top-notch researchers 
and experimental faculty such as Professors Heino Nitsche and Peidong Yang
at University of California, Berkeley. Also the selected candidate will 
have access to the National Supercomputing Facility at Lawrence Berkeley
Lab.

As this is part of a new initiative, there will be ample opportunities 
for career development and growth for the selected candidate. The position
does not require US citizen ship and foreign nationals are welcome to apply.
