To: jobs at ccl.net Date: Thu Sep 11 13:21:38 2008 Subject: 08.09.11 Postdoc positions in DFT development Kieron Burke (http://dft.uci.edu) plans to hire up to 3 postdoctoral fellows, to work on development of density functional theory (both ground-state and time-dependent) in chemistry, materials, and for single-molecule transport. A PhD in theoretical physics or chemistry or a related subject and a strong background in basic quantum mechanics are required, but experience with electronic structure calculations is not. UC Irvine is an excellent place to work, especially if you enjoy sunshine.
