Subject: 08.09.11 Postdoc positions in DFT development
Kieron Burke (http://dft.uci.edu) plans to hire up to 3 postdoctoral fellows,
to work on development of density functional theory (both ground-state and
time-dependent) in chemistry, materials, and for single-molecule transport.
A PhD in theoretical physics or chemistry or a related subject and a strong
background in basic quantum mechanics are required, but experience with
electronic structure calculations is not. UC Irvine is an excellent place to work,
especially if you enjoy sunshine.

Electronic applications, preferably in the form of a single pdf and including the
names of at least two references, should be addressed to juand(a)uci.edu,
with subject line "Burke post-doc search". Consideration and filling of positions
is ongoing and year-round. The University of California, Irvine, is an equal
opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to excellence through diversity.
