CMD Bioscience is a Connecticut based start-up biotech company that is 
developing and applying cutting-edge computational methods to identify 
therapeutic peptides.

We are seeking daring, exceptionally motivated and creative scientists 
to help develop and apply our computational methods.  Successful candidates 
for the computational methods development position will help develop and 
validate our second generation free energy function for predicting 
protein-protein binding free energies.  Successful candidates for the 
computational applications position will apply existing methods to design 
and optimize peptide candidates.

Candidates for the computational methods development position should have 
a PhD in biophysics or a related field, excellent computer programming 
skills, experience developing methods for computational protein modeling 
and simulation, and good English language writing skills.

Candidates for the computational methods application position should have 
at least a BS in biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, biophysics or a 
related field, hands-on experience with molecular modeling and simulation 
software, some experience with script writing, and good English language 
writing skills.

All candidates should be willing to write and submit grants to obtain 
project funding.
