Savira Pharmaceuticals is a research-based start-up company located in Vienna, 
Austria focusing on the development of drugs for the treatment of influenza. 
In order to strengthen the drug discovery team with expertise in molecular 
modelling, Savira is seeking for a post doctoral scientist preferably with 
the following qualifications: 

- At least 2 years experience in molecular modelling in drug discovery.

- Experience with appropriate modelling software as well as programming 
  or scripting languages.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.


The inter-disciplinary drug discovery team of Savira works in close 
collaboration with the structural biology group at the EMBL Grenoble and 
medicinal chemists from different contract research organisations. As a 
member of the drug discovery team responsible for the development of first 
hits into lead structures and further to preclinical candidates, you will 
work in close collaboration with the structural biologist at the EMBL and 
integrate data from protein ligand complex structures, biological activity 
and binding affinity. Together with the involved medicinal chemists you 
will develop ideas for syntheses of novel compounds.
