Subject: 10.01.12 Post-doctoral Position in Structure-based design and Chemoinformatics, University of Strasbourg, France
The Laboratory for Structural Chemogenomics (Dr. D. ROGNAN, http://bioinfo-pharma.u-strasbg.fr)
and the Laboratoire d'InfoChimie (Prof. A. VARNEK, http://infochim.u-strasbg.fr/index.php)
at the University of Strasbourg (France) are seeking or a post-doctoral fellow in
structure-based design and chemoinformatics

The candidate is asked to develop a novel protein-ligand docking method by predicting
1-D interaction fingerprints from combined structure-based and chemoinformatics approaches.
The applicant should have a Ph.D. degree in computational chemistry or any related-field
(chemoinformatics, molecular modeling, chemical data mining). Previous experience with docking tools
and machine learning methods is required for this fellowship. Programming skills (e.g. C, C++, python)
are mandatory and a previous experience with chemoinformatic toolkits (e .g. OEChem) would be an asset.
