The group is affiliated to the Department of Molecular Biology and to 
the Computational Biology Unit.

The postdoctoral associate will work at the interface between experimental
 and computational drug design. The project aims at designing and testing 
ligands for given enzymes, using mostly molecular modelling tools but
also experiments. The project will be conducted in close collaboration 
with our international multidisciplinary network of collaborators. 
Applicants should have a strong background in computational biology 
(molecular dynamics, docking, etc) and biochemistry/molecular biology, 
preferably demonstrated by university degrees in both fields. Practical
 experience in any of the above-mentioned fields is an advantage, as will
 practical experience in drug design or chemometrics be. Knowledge of 
Unix/Linux operating systems and experience in the use of high-performance 
computing is required.
