A postdoctoral position is open at the University of Connecticut in the research group of Eric R. May ( maylab.uconn.edu ), located in Storrs, CT. The applicant should have completed a Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, biophysics, biochemistry or related field and have extensive experience in biomolecular simulations. The applicant should have multiple publications in quality journals in the field of biophysics/biochemistry. The research program in the May lab employs computational biophysical methods and is supported by the NIH. The main areas of interest are in virus and membrane systems. Applicants with expertise in free energy and enhanced sampling methods are encouraged to apply. A strong programming background is preferred.
