Job Spec CV19 Computational Chemistry Researcher Cresset (www.cresset-group.com) is a scientific software company based outside Royston in Cambridgeshire. We develop cross-platform software tools for chemists working in the pharmaceutical industry. We have an opening for a computational chemistry researcher to assist in developing new scientific techniques and turning these into industry- leading easy-to-use software products. You will be a PhD-level scientist with experience in computational chemistry and/or molecular modelling, ideally in the field of drug discovery. You will also have advanced scripting skills in Perl or (preferably) Python, and some experience in scientific programming with C, C++, Java or Fortran. You will be expected to assist in researching, specifying, designing and helping to implement the next set of cutting-edge software tools from Cresset. In addition, you will work independently on scientific research projects, produce papers based on these, and present your research worldwide to Cresset customers and at scientific conferences.
