To: jobs at ccl.net Date: Thu Jan 25 08:32:04 2018 Subject: 18.01.25 Doctoral student computational chemistry, Linnaeus University, Kalmar, Sweden The Computational Chemistry and Biochemistry Group (CCBG) uses computer modelling and simulations for studies within biomedicine and physical chemistry, including modelling of drug resistance in cancer, macromolecule-ion interactions and simulations of solutions. We seek a highly motivated doctoral student to support our efforts in understanding molecular interactions, applied in particular to protein-drug interactions. The project will involve a significant amount of coding. We offer a rich research environment, competitive salary and access to state-of-the-art computational facilities. Requirements A person fulfils the general entry requirements if he/she has Been awarded a degree on second-cycle level (M.Sc. or equivalent) in computational, theoretical or physical chemistry or related subjects Completed the requirements for courses comprising at least 240 credits, of which 60 credits on second-cycle level, or in other way, in Sweden or abroad, has acquired principally equivalent knowledge.
