Chemical Computing Group (CCG) is a life sciences software company, dedicated to producing leading drug discovery technologies for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and academic institutions. The Academic Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and growing academic accounts worldwide. The ideal candidate will drive new sales and growth by developing a robust academic sales pipeline and managing academic partnerships/collaborations. The position is located in Montreal, Quebec. Responsibilities: 1. Identify and qualify new academic sales opportunities. 2. Develop and execute tactics and strategic plans to increase academic sales. 3. Build and maintain strong relationships with academic customers and partners. 4. Manage the sales cycle globally for all academic accounts. 5. Cultivate relationships with academic institutions to support the CCG marketing strategy. 6. Manage access to pedagogical licenses for academic institutions. 7. Forecast and report revenue pipeline projections to management. Qualifications: - A strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to set ambitious goals and achieve success with minimal oversight. - Demonstrated ability in qualifying, developing, growing and closing accounts. - Experience and proven track record in developing and maintaining a large volume of accounts. - Outstanding management and organizational skills. - Highly adaptive and able to work in fast-evolving environments. - Able to travel to meet with prospects, customers or participate in industry events. - Exceptional English communication skills (verbal & written). - Bachelors or Masters with a minimum experience of 1-3 years in computational chemistry, biochemistry, structural biology or other related fields. - Knowledge of software or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
