This position is open for immediate filling. A postdoc position is available in the Daniel Esscomputational and simulation lab at Brigham Young University (BYU) (http://www.chem.byu.edu/faculty/daniel-h-ess/). BYU has a very friendly campus environment in Provo, which is the second largest city in Utah. This position is an applied computational chemistry position that will involve multiple projects ranging from basic fundamental projects to collaboration with petrochemical industrial partners. Projects will be centered around the topic of organometallic reactions and catalysis. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in computational or theoretical chemistry, computational chemical engineering, or a related field. Applicants must be independent, be able to handle multiple projects and be expert in electronic structure computational packages.
