Subject: 18.12.20 AI Research Scientist, Start-up Drug Discovery, SYNSIGHT, near Paris, France
Synsight is offering a 2-year fixed-term contract for an AI Research Scientist. 
In this role, you will work in collaboration with computational chemists 
and laboratory researchers from our newly created Experimental Division. 
This position is made possible through a highly competitive grant that 
we have received from Genopole to support a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship 
for developing high-content screening in Drug Discovery.

Responsibilities

	Design Deep Learning architecture for Drug Discovery applications
	Train networks to understand and predict outcomes from open datasets 
and from images we produce in-house
	Build generative models (GANs, autoencoder, etc.) to design new chemical entities

Qualifications

Note: This offer is strictly for French or foreign researchers who are currently abroad and have completed at 
least 3 years of graduate education in France, including their doctoral studies.

	PhD in Computer-Aided Drug Design, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics or Physics
	Experience with Python
	Working knowledge of Pytorch, Tensorflow or similar frameworks
	Familiar with fundamental concepts in Molecular Biology, Chemical Biology and/or Bioinformatics
	Experience with RDkit
	Ability to efficiently work on multiple projects
	Team player
	Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
