A postdoctoral position is available immediately in our lab at University of California San Diego (UCSD, La Jolla, CA; https://gilson.ucsd.edu) developing software to compute protein-ligand and host-guest binding free energies, advancing simulation force fields, and working on collaborative structure-based drug design projects. We would like to fill this position as soon as possible. UCSD is a great place to do both basic and translational research and is home to leading groups in molecular modeling and computational chemistry. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in computational chemistry or a related field, programming experience, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with drug discovery is strongly preferred. Salary will be based on experience, in compliance with all UC and NIH policies.
