Postdoctoral position opening in Organic and Organometallic Computational Chemistry, University of Geneva, Switzerland

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available for an outstanding and ambitious chemist to join Dr Amalia I Poblador-Bahamonde team at the University of Geneva, working in Computational Chemistry. This 1+1 year position is fully funded with a salary of approximately 65000 CHF/year.

The Poblador-Bahamonde group is focused in modelling regio- and enantioselective processes and the nature of different types of interactions. Projects will involve organic and organometallic processes, reactions and catalysis and will range from metal-ylides to ion-mediated chemistry. You will work in direct collaboration with the experimental group of Prof Jérôme Lacour.

Candidates should hold a PhD in computational or theoretical chemistry, computational chemical engineering, or a related field.

Starting date from January 2020.

Applicants must be independent, be able to handle multiple projects and be experts in computational packages and theoretical analysis.
