A postdoctoral fellowship is available in the group of Prof. William P. 
Bricker in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the 
University of New Mexico. The research project will involve the accurate 
determination of a large-scale molecular electronic structure using machine
learning and artificial intelligence methods. This research project will 
be performed in collaboration with Dr. Joshua Rackers at Sandia National 
Laboratories (SNL), and the post-doctoral researcher will have the 
opportunity to work on-site at SNL during the Summer months. This is a 
full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month position with an annual salary of $52,750 and 
includes full health care benefits, 15 days annual paid time off, and 15 
days annual sick leave. The applicant should have a Ph.D. or equivalent at 
the time of application, or have current plans to obtain their Ph.D. by the
end of 2020. The applicant should have experience with modern quantum 
chemistry methods and should additionally have programming experience. It 
is also desired that the applicant have some experience with machine 
learning and artificial intelligence methods as well, but this is not a 
requirement. You must be a US citizen to apply for this position. Woman
