A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Julian Lee, in the
Department of Bioinformatics and Life Science at Soongsil University, Seoul,
Korea.The research area of our lab is computational biophysics.  Our current 
 research interest is mathematical modeling of gene regulatory network, inter
-actions among gut microbiota, as well as subcellular dynamics. The research 
direction is rather flexible, and the applicant is welcome to suggest a 
research theme of his/her own that is closely related to our main research
 topics.

We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher who can work
independently and collaborate with the principal investigator.In particular,
 we look  for a researcher in one of the following areas:

- Mathematical modeling, especially the nonlinear dynamics and/or 
  stochastic processes.
- Artificial intelligence, such as deep learning
- All-atom molecular dynamics simulations

Working in the linux environment is required. A candidates who can program
 either in C, Fortran, or Python is strongly preferred.

The yearly salary is 42M won (about $37500)+ pretax for a fresh PhD 
graduate, and can be negotiated according to the career experience and 
skill of the applicant. The initial appointment is for 1 year, and is 
renewable upon review.
