ABOUT THE COMPANY:
ZYMVOL is a biotech company specialized in the design, development and application of molecular modeling software in the discovery and development of new industrial enzymes.

ABOUT THE POSITION: 
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to apply at the Tecniospring INDUSTRY talent programme (co-financed by the H2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions). If successful, the candidate will join our R&D team as a Scientific researcher working on biomolecular modelling of enzymes for industrial application and on the development of related software. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- PhD in Computational Chemistry, Biophysics or related 
- + 2 years of postdoctoral experience
- Mobility requirement: have not lived or worked in Spain more than 12 months during the last 3 years.
- Expertise (and strong publication record) in Molecular Dynamics simulations of proteins.
- Coding and scripting abilities (e.g. Python) is essential. 
- Experience with docking techniques and computational enzyme design is desirable
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The researcher will respond to the Chief Scientific Officer. 
- Application of molecular dynamics simulations and advanced modelling techniques, and the implementation of a protocol (software) to address specific problems related to the development of industrial enzymes. 
- Communication with partners (private companies) in charge of providing/acquiring the experimental data.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WORKING AT ZYMVOL:
- Contract duration - 2 years (expected starting date May 2022)
- Economic conditions  Compensation will depend on previous experience but competitive conditions are available. Please note that the position shall be sponsored by the Marie Sklodowska-Curie programme.
