A postdoc position is available in the Daniel Ess computational and simulation lab at Brigham Young University (BYU) (https://esslab.byu.edu/). Applications will be accepted now through Sept. 15. The start date is targeted between Jan. 2022 to April 2022. Projects will be using and developing ab initio molecular dynamics to study complex organic and organometallic chemical reactions. The postdoc will also learn skills from other projects in my group (for example, catalyst design). Candidates should have a Ph.D. in computational or theoretical chemistry, computational physics, computer science with applications, or a related field. Applicants must be independent and be able to handle multiple projects. BYU has a very friendly campus environment in Provo, which is the second largest city in Utah.
