I'm planning to write algorithms involving interval math, and I'd rather not use a point-based language. If possible, I'd prefer something that could be used on an IBM Powerstation. I've heard that there is a extension to FORTRAN 77 called FORTRAN-SC which offers interval data types, as well as an augmented set of standard functions for interval arguments. However, I have not been able to find any detailed information on this, and I don't think it is in general use. I'd welcome any suggestions. Thanks, E. Steel
