CCL: OpenTox Series of Online Tutorials

Dear All:

OpenTox is pleased to announce a series of online seminars and interactive tutorials on topics related to predictive toxicology using a virtual conferencing system supporting desktop sharing and voice. The tutorials are part of the EU FP7 project OpenTox (www.opentox.org), which aims at developing an interoperable open source predictive toxicology framework which may be used as an enabling platform for the creation of predictive toxicology applications.

The first tutorial will be held Wednesday, 30 March, at 15:00 CET, and aiming at Java developers who want to learn how to build an OpenTox API compliant Web service (some acquaintance with Restlet, http://www.restlet.org, and basic knowledge of the OpenTox REST API, http://opentox.org/dev/apis/api-1.2, is necessary).

Participation in these online events involves no registration fee. For more information, as well as to register, visit http://www.opentox.org/meet/opentoxonline.

Best regards,
