CCL members,
We should appreciate the great holiday gift bequeathed to us, the rare
appearance of Jim Kress. It is a holiday of macabre origins, not unlike a
bizarro Groundhog Day.
In fact, his presence here is somewhat like a time-stretched Punxsutawney
Phil; when he pops his head out of his hole on (thankfully) increasingly
rare occasions and casts his shadow on our e-mail inboxes, it means we need
to spend another 6 years fighting for gender equity in our community.
With regards,
Nathan Seifert
