Thanks to the amazing organizers of the EuroGraphics and EUROVIS, this year the attendance will be free, including also our workshop! Details regarding our MolVA workshop you will find here: http://decibel.fi.muni.cz/~xbyska/molva/ A short overview of the program follows here, the abstract goes below: *** Schedule *** MolVA: First Session on Monday, May 25, 09:00 - 10:30 CET - Visual Interactive Analysis of Molecular Dynamics - Molecular Binding in a Visuohaptic Environment: An Enhanced Approach in STEM Learning - The Vesicle Builder – A Membrane Packing Algorithm for the CELLmicrocosmos MembraneEditor MolVA: Second Session on Monday, May 25, 11:00 - 12:30 CET - Improved Umbrella Visualization implemented in UnityMol gives valuable insight on sugar/protein interplay - Mesoscope: A Web-based Tool for Mesoscale Data Integration and Curation - Invited talk: Molecular Visualization in Virtual Reality: challenges and opportunities *** Abstract *** Molecular visualization and graphics belong among the oldest branches of scientific visualization, which has been developing for over 50 years. Due to the continuous advances in both computational biology and computer graphics techniques, molecular graphics and visualization are very active areas of research. Not only the ever-increasing dataset sizes yield a constant challenge for visual analysis, but also new technologies like advances in web-based graphics or augmented and virtual reality open new possibilities. This half-day multidisciplinary workshop - which is held in conjunction with EuroVis for the third time and with Eurographics for the first time - brings together visualization and computer graphics researchers working with molecular data.   Whereas molecular graphics is an established topic for many years, the hybrid-dimensional visual analysis of molecular structures is still a quite new research field with a lot of potential. We would like to encourage submissions especially using new technologies, such as immersive analytics or ML-related approaches.   *** Registration *** If you want to attend, please register here: https://conferences.eg.org/egev20/for-attendees/registration/ It might be possible without registration to attend, but please note that the organizers invested a lot of effort to make this high class conference attendance available for free. Please kindly register and show your support if you join the meeting at some point. Of course, if you are keen on visualization, you have a full week of program! Hope to see you Monday!
