Free software: How do you analyze your active data when they are embedded in your inactive data? Use Cluster Significance Analysis (CSA). It is now available in an easy to use format. Embedded Response Analysis (ERA) is a Visual Basic for Applications program that conducts CSA taking advantage of Excel’s easy to use features: data import, data organization, and printing.
It is deemed necessary to rename CSA to ERA because there has been confusion between CSA and the more established statistical procedure Cluster Analysis, which uses hierarchical trees. ERA (CSA) uses different principles.
The program includes a “help” worksheet that gives details as to what ERA is, a tutorial on how the program works, and some background information.
If you would like a copy of ERA, please e-mail me at: jwmcfarland - at - yahoo - dot - com. I will need your e-mail address to return the software. Also indicate if you would like a practice dataset. I will send that too.
