I also consider Gene my mentor. I worked for him as an undergraduate and he
sent me to Kansas to graduate school. I have done very well thanks in part
to him.
The last I heard he was laid off from Ontogen in San Diego. The best people
to contact are Yvonne Martin at Abbott and Gary Grunewald at Kansas. Let me
know what you find out.
