Umetrics UK will be running our autumn Multivariate QSAR Modelling course in
Windsor, UK 28-30 October 2003.
The objective of the course is to gain a working understanding of the use of
Principal Components Analysis and Partial Least Squares regression as
applied to QSAR studies. Applications include using PCA to create chemical
property maps, selection of diverse sets of molecules for testing using
statistical molecular design, pattern recognition and classification by
molecular properties, building valid & predictive MQSAR PLS models and the
application of multivariate models to bioinformatics data.
The course is composed of lectures, demonstrations and exercises and
delegates have the opportunity to bring their own data along for analysis
with the help of Umetrics consultants. No prior knowledge of statistics is
assumed.
The course fees of £850 include all course materials, lunch, refreshments
and the course dinner in Windsor. Hotel accommodation is arranged in Windsor
at a discounted rate of £99/night
