IUPAC standard for amino acid dihedrals

Thanks for the info on Chou-Fasman and such.  Next question:  What is
 the IUPAC standard for numbering sidechain dihedrals in amino acids?
   It is obvious for non-branched amino acids, but I need to know how
 one decides for an amino acid like isoleucine.
