Thanks to all who responded to my question. 
The accuracy of the cartesian coordinates were the problem.
We finaly had success when we used NEWZMAT with the commandline
'-ixyz -lsymm -symm' and changed one parameter in the resulting
Z-matrix from 120.00000001 to 120.00000000.
