Subject: CCL:Labware drawinfg software
#*at*# Dear Colleagues:
#*at*#
#*at*# Does anyone know of software for use on an IBM-type PC that would
enable
#*at*# you to draw (or insert) pictures of common organic laboratory equipment
#*at*# (e.g., Erlenmeyer flasks, distillation columns, &c.). I seek a
sort of PC
#*at*# version of the old organic chemistry equipment drawing stencils that we
used
#*at*# to have to use in introductory organic chemistry.
#*at*#
#*at*# Thanks in advance to all responders.
#*at*#
#*at*#
#*at*# Sincerely,
#*at*#

A possible solution:
"The Laboratory Glassware Collection" for the PC by SoftShell.
The program requires the use of ChemWindow 3.1.
It contains more than 120 illustrations of glassware and equipment which can
be edited with the Pen Tool in ChemWindow. These illustrations can be copied
and paste into other applications. Funnels, adapters, flasks, containers,
condensers, tubing, lids, stoppers, a few complete setups, etc.
It may come bundled with "Entropy Lite", a file manager designed to
store all
documents created with ChemWindow in a single easy to access database.
