Georgetown University will host its annual NSF-sponsored Research Experiences
for Undergraduates (REU) program in chemistry and biochemistry. The ten-week
program runs from May 30 to Aug 4 and is open to students who have completed a
full year of chemistry by the end of spring term 2005.
Students interested in theoretical and/or computational projects will work with
Professors Miklos Kertesz, Angel deDios and/or Toshiko Ichiye.
The research experience is supplemented by a series of professional development
workshops and terminates with a final poster presentation. Successful applicants
will receive a stipend of 4000, a travel allowance, and housing.
