Dear CCL's Prof. Artem R. Oganov and myself are organizing workshop on " Discovery of Novel Nanoparticles, Surfaces and Bulk Materials: evolutionary structure prediction using the USPEX code", coupled with a tutorial on DFT for new users called "periodic DFT for beginners" using Quantum Expresso or VASP codes. The workshop will take place in June 2011 in France (Poitiers and Oléron). This will help our planning.
