243. General EPR Parameter Fitting Program

Modified by W. D. Ohlsen, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah 84112, from a program by H. M. Gladney and J. D. Swalen, IBM Research Laboratory, San Jose, California 95193

This program is a modified version of QCPE 134. The modification involves the introduction of two new variables FLAMDA and DLAMDA for the following purposes: FLAMDA is the diagonal weighting factor used in the gradient expansion algorithm; DLAMDA is the factor by which FLAMDA is increased or decreased. As a matter of information, the abstract for QCPE 134 is reproduced below.

"Given EPR absorptions (field values) at specified orientations of the external magnetic field and a specified microwave frequency, this program optimizes one or more parameters in the spin Hamiltonian by a nonlinear least-squares procedure."
