162. DATAR: Rate Parameters from Differential Scanning Calorimetric Thermograms

by Ernest A. Dorko and Robert W. Crossley, Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio 45433

This program accepts arbitrary coordinates from the trace of heating rate versus time obtained from a differential scanning calorimeter operated in the isothermal mode, performs numerical integrations of the curve by Simpson's rule and computes the following rate parameters: A (reactant fraction remaining at time t), 1n A, Log (100 A), 1/A, 1/A2, (1-A)/A, log (100(1- A/A)), and time, t (in seconds and minutes).
