321. NLCAL: Nonlinear Calibration

by Lowell M. Schwarz, Department of Chemistry, University of Massachusetts, Boston, Massachusetts 02115

This is a self-contained program which constructs a non-linear (or linear) polynomial calibration curve through a number of input calibrating points, weighted or unweighted. The polynomial degree is selected to be consistent with the random scatter of the calibrated points. If response data are input, the program calculates corresponding unknown values from the calibration curve and also uncertainty estimates in the form of a standard deviation taken over Monte Carlo simulated replications.
