374. PFORT Verifier
By A. D. Hall and B. G. Ryder, Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, New Jersey 07977 The PFORT Verifier is a program which checks a FORTRAN program for adherence to PFORT, a portable subset of American National Standard FORTRAN. It diagnoses errors in interprogram-unit communication and COMMON usage which compilers often miss. The Verifier itself is written in PFORT and can easily be installed on a variety of computers.
