445. RISMIX: An Extension of Lowden's Program (QCPE
306) to Solve the RISM Equation for Multicomponent
Molecular Fluids
by M. Lombardero, E. Enciso and C. Martín, Instituto de Química-Física "Rocasolano" C.S.I.C., Serrano 119, Madrid, Spain and Departamento de Química Física, Facultad de Ciencias Químicas, Universidad Complutense, Madrid, Spain Recent years have seen an extensive application of the RISM theory to study structural and equilibrium properties of pure molecular fluids. The theory is based on the RISM integral equation which provides an approximate theory for the site distribution functions. In order to solve the RISM integral equation, many authors have used the approximate method developed by Lowden (QCPE 306) to obtain the pair correlation functions and molecular structure factors. In this program, the RISM model has been extended to multicomponent molecular fluids. This is a FORTRAN IV program, a natural extension of Lowden's programs which comprise QCPE 306.
