480. IONPIT: Pitzer Ion Interaction Approach

by R. Andreu, J. A. Cejudo and E. S. Marcos, Department of Physical Chemistry, University of Sevilla, Palos de la Frontera 1, Sevilla, Spain

IONPIT estimates activity and/or osmotic coefficients of salt mixtures from analogous information pertaining to single salt solutions. Calculations are based on Pitzer's ion interaction treatment.

The program allows the single salt parameters to be derived, as well as q and j parameters to be estimated from binary salt mixtures with a common ion.

FORTRAN IV (IBM) Lines of Code: 4592
