611. VIBRATE: A Normal Mode Visualization Program

by Rainer Glaser and M. Kirk Hall, Department of Chemistry, University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri 65211

VIBRATE displays the classical representations of the normal vibrational modes of molecules. It requires files created with a standard GAUSSIAN 88 vibration analysis. VIBRATE displays each mode either as a vibrating skeleton or ball-and-stick structure. The Graphics Library utilities were used to develop the program on a Silicon Graphics Personal IRIS.

Lines of Code: 500 FORTRAN 77, Graphics Library
