643. COLRATE: Calculation of Gas-Kinetic Collision Rate Coefficients

by Kieran F. Lim, School of Chemistry, University of Melbourne, Parkville, Victoria 3052, Australia

The interactive program COLRATE calculates ion-molecule, Lennard-Jones (12-6), and hard-sphere collision frequencies. This information can then be used to interpret reaction and energy-transfer rates in terms of per collision reaction efficiencies or per collision average energy-transfer parameters.

The FORTRAN code has been tested on Digital MICROVAX II, DECstation and IBM RS/6000 computers. The Macintosh application (Language Systems FORTRAN) has been tested on ES/30 (with Math Co-processor) and Powerbook 160 (without Math Co-processor) computers.

Lines of Code: 569 FORTRAN 77
