HPLC for WINDOWS
by Matti Koskinen, Tempere University Hospital, Tampere, Finland The purpose of HPLCWIN it to analyze chromatograms using numerically fitted Gaussian functions and repeated peelings. This method is meaningful when there are overlapped peaks in the chromatogram. The original version of the program was published in the Journal of Liquid Chromatography, 16(15), 3171-3184 (1993). The first version was using coordinate reader as an input device. Since then, the program has been developed markedly and modified to the WINDOWS environment using Microsoft Visual Basic. This version of the program reads the data off the computer disk in ASCII format. The essential mathematical content is unchanged. Hardware: * Any IBM-compatible PC. The 486 processor is recommended, but the 386 with arithmetic coprocessor does also give tolerable computing times. * A hard disk * A floppy drive *An EGA, VGA or compatible display. The delivered version of the program is fitted for displays with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels (SVGA). If a different size is used, the source code has to be changed. Lines of Code: 339 BASIC |
