Structural browsing indices (SBIs) provide a convenient way to
incorporate structural information in a variety of data analysis situations.
This webcast will define SBIs, illustrate their use as an index that
facilitates visual analysis and introduce a new software package, Meqi, for
constructing SBIs. We will illustrate the synergistic use of Spotfire
DecisionSite, ISIS and Meqi in capitalizing on the power of SBIs as
tools in lead discovery.

Live and in-depth demonstrations will feature:

•analyzing a category of structural features such as ring systems or
functional groups represented in a chemical library,

•quantifying the relative diversity of two compound collections in
order to facilitate compound acquisition,

•analyzing screening results for 2D pharmacophores,

•identifying structural-feature categories around which to design
chemical libraries
