Dear colleague,

may I recommend that you go to the following WebPage,
where you find a most comprehensive collection of
references, also related to QSAR and variable selection:

http://panizzi.shef.ac.uk/cisrg/links/ea_bib.html .

In addition, there are two books, a recent one one by
David E. Clark, Ed., Evolutionary Algorithms in Molecular
Design, Volume 8 of Methods and Principles in Molecular
Design, Wiley-VCH, Weinheim 2000;

and another one by
James Devillers, Ed., Genetic Algorithms in Molecular
Modeling, Volume 1 of Principles of QSAR and Drug Design,
Academic Press, 1996.

Best regards

Hugo Kubinyi
