One postdoctoral position is available in the Kananenka group at 
University of Delaware, USA (https://sites.udel.edu/akanane/). 
The project focuses on developing new theoretical and computational 
methods to elucidate the effects of dissipative environment on the 
properties of hybrid light-matter states so-called polaritons. 
The project will involve quantum, quantum-classical, and/or semiclassical 
dynamics simulations of molecular systems coupled to quantized radiation 
field of a cavity. The work will be performed in a collaboration with
experimental groups. The initial appointment will be for one year with 
a possibility of extension. 

Requirements
The candidates must hold or are about to receive a PhD degree in 
Computational Physics or Chemistry. Candidates with strong background 
in quantum, quantum-classical, and/or semiclassical dynamics, quantum 
chemistry calculations, open quantum systems, and programming 
(at least Python) are particularly encouraged to apply.
